Following the tracks of Genghis Khan by solar power
In late June 2012 the founders of Pedelec Adventures, LEV journalist Susanne Brüsch and expedition leader Ondra Veltrusky, took off for Mongolia to follow the tracks of Genghis Khan on speed pedelecs. The Berlin-based team is pulling solar trailers to re-charge the batteries by the sun while crossing Mongolia’s grasslands, mountains and desert. This trip, which is supported by propulsion system manufacturer Bosch as main sponsor is going to be a tough test for today’s electric bike and solar charging technology.
